| The Junior League of the Oranges and Short Hills (JLOSH) reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate a commitment to voluntarism. JLOSH offers many rewarding volunteer opportunities. Members can dedicate their time to volunteer efforts in the community as well as fundraising, volunteer training and development, and communications efforts, all of which support the impact JLOSH makes in its community. |
| JLOSH volunteers address critical needs of women and children in the communities of East Orange, Livingston, Maplewood, Millburn, Orange, Short Hills, South Orange, Springfield and West Orange. |
| Joining JLOSH provides opportunities for volunteers to impact their community in a meaningful way, to benefit from training in a variety of educational and leadership programs, and foster life-long friendships and professional relationships with fellow volunteers and members of the community in which they serve. JLOSH welcomes inquiries from new members year round. If you are unable to attend one of our informational sessions, please contact the JLOSH office and one of our members will be in touch to answer your questions. The annual provisional class for new members runs November through May, and is the first step to becoming an Active Member. |
